In the same year, Biofrost joined the team Elomingle. With this team, he played in the AlphaDraft Challengers League. The team performed splendidly, having won the playoffs and the quarterfinals. However, they lost in the semi-finals.

In 2016, Biofrost joined the team AKA and played in the NACS Spring Open Qualifier. The team barely missed the qualifier as they were defeated by Astral Authority after they made it to third place.

Later, Biofrost joined another team, called Dream Team. This team was also participating in the NACS Spring Open Qualifier, and Biofrost was actually replacing Hakuho, who had left Dream Team to join Renegades. The Dream Team also barely missed out on the playoffs but got a higher seeding for the summer qualifier.

In May 2016, Team SoloMid invited Biofrost to join their team to attend the Korean boot camp and try out the team’s support position. The tryout was a success and Biofrost joined the team on the 18th of May 2016. Bioforst played for a lot of time for TSM i.e. Team SoloMid.

After winning quite some series, Team SoloMid qualified for the World Championship with North America’s first seed. As Team SoloMid won a vast majority of the series, Biofrost also won the Outstanding Rookie title for the Summer Season.
