Qatar University Scholarships
Qatari Emirates premier university, Qatar University is open for international students to pursue their undergraduate studies in Qatar for the session of 2022-2023 through their range of scholarships.
The scholarships provide the Students with tuition fees, university accommodation, annual round trip air fare ticket and textbooks fees exemption.
Going further, the institution stated that their scholarships are awarded on academic merit and scholarly achievement.
The scholarships offered by the institution are meant to attract high-qualified students from countries, provided they meet the requirements of the scholarship and possess the required documents, and they are for all levels of study ranging from undergraduates to postgraduates.
Types of Scholarship
The scholarships available are grouped into two, and it is External Scholarships and Internal Scholarships
External Scholarship: Qatar University Scholarships for Undergraduates.
Selected Indians and other applicants for the Qatar University Scholarships for Undergraduates which are classed under External Scholarships are to study in the United Arab Emirates throughout their undergraduate years.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarships, the institution expects the applicants to:
Be from other countries apart from Qatar
Be able to converse in English.
Meet the admission requirements for the college and major that they applied to, In addition to submitting the final, official high school transcript for new admitted applicants.
The scholarship must be benefited from in the same semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded (mainly, registering for and passing classes), otherwise, the scholarship will be canceled in that term and the student will be informed by QU email.
Internal Scholarship: H.H. the Emir of Qatar’s Scholarships for Academic Excellence
Selected Indians and other applicants for the H.H. the Emir of Qatar’s Scholarships for Academic Excellence which are classed under Internal Scholarships are to study in the institution or must have been a student in Qatar.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the admission requirements for the college and major that they applied to. In addition to submitting the final, official high school transcript for new admitted applicants.
The scholarship must be benefited from in the same semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded (mainly, registering for and passing classes), otherwise, the scholarship will be canceled in that term and the student will be informed by QU email.
Requirements
Hold a Qatari Secondary Education Certificate.
A minimum average of 95% in the secondary school certificate.
The applicant should be a secondary school graduate in the same year in which the scholarship application is made.
These scholarship awards are only made in the Fall semester.
The scholarship must be benefited from in the first semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded (mainly, registering for and passing classes), otherwise, the scholarship will be canceled in that term and the student will be informed by QU email.
Internal Scholarship: Outstanding Performance Scholarship
This scholarship is designed for Indians and other nationalities that are students of the institution to appreciate them for their academic excellence.
Requirements
Must be enrolled at Qatar University.
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00.
Must have completed at least 30 credit hours in QU.
Students with the highest cumulative GPA will be selected.
